It was always going to be a busy transfer window at Ibrox, and we’re starting to see plenty of names linked to the club. At this very moment, there are eight players we’re reportedly interested in.
Each week new names seem to crop up, and this week has been no different. So, here’s the eight latest players being linked with a move to Ibrox stadium.
George Edmundson
Rangers are reportedly preparing a third bid for the Oldham defender [Scottish Sun]. The 21-year-old has also reportedly handed in a transfer request [Sky Sports News], and Rangers are said to be “confident” the deal can be done.

Martin Skrtel
The one that will not go away, reports in Turkey have once again linked Rangers to the player [Asist Analiz]. A former teammate of Steven Gerrard’s, 34-year-old Skrtel could demand a significant wage.

John Souttar
John Souttar was first linked to the club back in April, but we’ve yet to hear of anything concrete. However, a recent report suggests Hearts want at least £3m for the player [Daily Record].

Joe Aribo
The talented young midfielder was a major part of Charlton’s recent Championship playoff final victory over Sunderland. Rangers are said to be battling a host of club’s for his signature, but reports claim newly-promoted Aston Villa are leading the pack [The Sun].

Sheyi Ojo
This was said to be “all but done” according to reputable club insider Four Lads Had a Dream, but we’ve yet to see anything announced. The powerful Liverpool winger comes very highly rated.

Greg Stewart
Another which is reportedly very close to being announced. There have been a few conflicting reports over Stewart, namely concerning the length of his contract. Fans are also split on the player. Should Stewart sign, it’s up to him to prove the naysayers wrong.

Ryan Kent
From the last time, there’s nothing much to report on this one. But Kent remains a priority target for the club. That said, after Aston Villa got promotion, could they invest megabucks into the player?

Nottingham Forest striker Ansarifard has struggled to get game time down south and Glasgow is said to be an escape route [Football Insider]. As a youngster, the Iranian forward, 29, was considered one of Asia’s brightest talents.
