The Daily Record report that Rangers have held talks with Greg Stewart over a potential move to Ibrox.
Stewart, 29, is contracted to Birmingham City until the end of the season.

However, he’s currently plying his trade on loan at Aberdeen.
Remarkably, a switch to Glasgow would make the Gers his third SPL club in just over a year.
That’s because the
Stewart registered an impressive eight goals and six assists in 16 league appearances for the Rugby Park outfit.

He’s been less successful since his move to Pittodrie, though. One goal is all he has to show for his efforts under Derek McInnes.
Yet, the dip in form doesn’t seem to have put off Steven Gerrard.
A good move?
The Gers boss is looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season and already has the imminent arrival of Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones to look forward to.
One advantage to this potential deal is that Stewart knows the league. He also performed well for Dundee between 2014 and 2016 and therefore, shouldn’t take too long to bed-in.

Furthermore, due to his contract situation, the club will incur little to no financial risk.
The reaction to the reports on social media has so far been mixed. Some think it’s a no brainer, while others are questioning whether someone like Stewart is really good enough to help Rangers kick on to silverware.
