Rangers look set for a busy summer transfer window as the club braces for fresh US investment.

The Gers are on the verge of a US buyout led by sports consortium 49ers Enterprises and healthcare mogul Andrew Cavenagh.

The situation is set to transform Rangers’ financial picture in the eternal battle with Celtic, who have dominated Scottish football for the last 13 years.

There’s already plenty of talk over how the US money will impact Rangers’ transfer budget but for the time being the club is keeping their cards close to their chest.

With a new sporting director to come into Rangers before the appointment of the club’s 20th permanent manager, a period of sweeping change is on the horizon.

There are also clearly some big decisions to be made at Ibrox on and off the park.

Rangers News has spoken to transfer expert Graeme Bailey about the state of play at Rangers ahead of the summer.

We talk everything from Vaclav Cerny to the club’s new manager, with a little bit of chatter on the US takeover, potential transfer targets and the club’s top assets sprinkled in between.
