Rangers News has learned that Vaclav Cerny is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs as he approaches the end of his loan spell at Ibrox.
The Czech international winger, 27, has been in the headlines this week after Police Scotland launched a probe on Cerny following an incident at Celtic Park.
With Vaclav Cerny appearing to soak some Celtic fans with a water bottle, the incident has already earned Cerny cult status amongst Rangers fans.
But with only a matter of weeks left of the winger’s Wolfsburg loan deal, attentions have turned to what happens next with the Rangers attacker vocal in the press in recent days about his future.
Now, Rangers News has learned that a number of Premier League sides are tailing the winger after an impressive season out on loan at Ibrox.
But Rangers have not been ruled out of a making a move themselves, with US investment from 49ers Enterprises raising hopes of a permanent transfer.

Vaclav Cerny tailed by Premier League trio
In recent days, Vaclav Cerny has spoken about moving to the Premier League come the end of his spell at Rangers.
The former Ajax and Twente winger is considered surplus to requirements in Germany with Wolfsburg having splashed the cash to sign Andreas Skov Olsen from Club Brugge in January.
With Cerny’s £8m price tag initially said to be too rich for Rangers’ blood, the winger’s impressive form at Ibrox has clubs from the English Premier League sniffing around.
Rangers News has learned that Premier League trio Fulham, Brentford and West Ham have all taken notice of Cerny’s exploits at Ibrox.
This includes in the Europa League, where Cerny has played a crucial role in helping Rangers to the competition’s quarter finals.

Sheffield United – who are currently locked in a promotion battle with 49ers backed Leeds United in the English Championship – are also keeping tabs.
When asked if making a move to the Premier League was a personal dream of his, Cerny responded: “I won’t say no and I won’t say yes.
“From experience, I won’t say destinations and dreams anymore. I’m doing everything to have such a good year, to open as many doors as possible and to have plenty to choose from.
“And whether it’s the Rangers door, whether it’s the door to Wolfsburg, which is the only official one so far – or whether it’s the doors in Spain, Italy, England, Holland… It’s up to me now to open as many as possible.”
49ers to consider permanent Rangers move for Vaclav Cerny
Rangers fans will hope their club can fend off Premier League interest in Vaclav Cerny with the winger a crucial part of the Rangers squad this season.
But despite Rangers previously being priced out of a move for Cerny, Rangers News has learned that a permanent transfer could still be a possibility.
With Rangers on the verge of a US takeover led by healthcare mogul Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises, there is expected to be investment this summer.
As explained by football finances expert Adam Williams, Rangers will have to spend in the short-term if they harbour any ambitions of catching Old Firm rivals Celtic.
As part of that, Rangers News believes there will be boardroom discussions over a move for Vaclav Cerny with nothing off the table as things currently stand.
Fresh investment at Rangers has opened up the possibility of a permanent deal and the Ibrox side will be in the running for Cerny’s signature this summer.
The news comes after Cerny admitted he would be open to Rangers signing him more permanently.
“I definitely do,” Cerny said when asked if Rangers are a club where he could see himself continue his career.
“But there are so many aspects that I can’t control. All I can do is be the best I can and keep up my form and numbers.
“There’s no time for that, we play every three days. I don’t have an option, that’s the only official one. I don’t know what will happen.”
When asked if there had been any negotiations between Rangers and Wolfsburg, Cerny said: “No. I’m having fun with everyone as I go.
“Rangers will be going through some changes in the summer, there’s talk of new owners buying a large percentage of the shares.
“But nothing is confirmed, it’s just being talked about and written about in the media.
“It wouldn’t be right to discuss something with someone who doesn’t know what will happen in two months. It’s too early for that.”
The Gers support have gotten used to loan players moving on after making a big impression at Ibrox, with Malik Tillman (PSV Eindhoven), Fabio Silva (Las Palmas) and Abdallah Sima (Brest) all having an impact in Glasgow on short-term deals.
It’s worth nothing that there were expressions of interest in all three players but Rangers failed to strike a more permanent agreement.
