Few would have expected Hamza Igamane to be attracting so much attention so early into his Rangers career.
Philippe Clement insisted the Moroccan would take time to settle and that proved to be true to an extent as fans only caught glimpses of him during cameos from the bench.
But since being pitched in for a Europa League start against Nice, the 22-year-old hasn’t looked back after scoring a double that night.
Igamane has 12 goals in 14 games including that game but it isn’t just his goals as he impresses with his all-round play – pace, power, strength and skill wowing fans.
It wasn’t long until other clubs were taking notice too though and last month four Premier League clubs were said to be looking at the Rangers star.
Named at that point were West Ham United, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham but Everton scouts then watched him score Gers’ goal against Spurs and were added to the list.
Any move would earn Rangers a quick profit on a player signed for £1.7million in the summer, although it’s not clear if they will receive bids now or in the next window.
But Barry Ferguson has predicted ‘big bids’ will come in for Igamane, who he values at around £10m.

Tottenham looking at Rangers’ Igamane
Marseille were the latest club said to be looking at the Gers striker as be became a “serious candidate” to replace the outgoing Elye Wahi.
Wahi himself looks set to be a replacement for Man City signing Omar Marmoush by heading to Eintracht Frankfurt for £21m.
But a new Premier League side could rival Marseille in the race for Igamane as they “do work” on the 22-year-old.
That’s according to an exclusive from our sister site TBR Football. Chief correspondent Graeme Bailey reports that Tottenham have been watching Igamane and are now weighing up a potential swoop.
The North London club had scouts in attendance as he hit a hat-trick against Hibs and also as he found the net against Aberdeen.
Clement expects big Igamane profit
Philippe Clement is on record about how Rangers need to improve player trading, to keep earning more and more money to invest back in the squad.
Targeting players like Igamane is part of that and selling him on for a massive profit would be a huge step towards those goals.
And Clement is confident the club will make a big profit on him.
”We’re not the only club in the world that works like that or has to work like that, it’s the world of football now,” said Clement.
”I had it a lot in my old clubs also before.
”Somebody can make a next step, a higher step and it’s beneficial for the club and the player, there’s no possibility to stop them.
“It’s part of the story. I’ve done it also as a player. It’s normal in football.
”The other thing is, it’s important to know what is the right moment, for the club and the player, that’s another thing.
”Those are interesting things. That’s going to be something for the future for Hamza, I am confident about that, but not the near future.
”I think it’s important now if we want consistency that we’re not going to sell players who are performing well.
”Otherwise it becomes even more difficult.“
