Rangers are known to be actively trying to shift several of the club’s highest-earners out of Ibrox this January.
Rabbi Matondo is amongst the most profile, whilst the likes of Kieran Dowell and Cyriel Dessers remain central to the transfer conversation at Ibrox.
And now Ridvan Yilmaz, who is almost perennially linked with a return to home country Turkey, has well and truly thrown the cat amongst the pigeons on Instagram.

Ridvan Yilmaz in Instagram exit hint
Social media isn’t always an effective source and Ridvan Yilmaz could have some explaining to do after his most recent Instagram post.
The Rangers left-back has uploaded a video outside of a Turkish cafe in Istanbul, giving rise to substantial speculation surrounding the player’s future.
Just hours before Rangers are set to travel to Dundee to face Dundee United at Tannadice, Yilmaz has at least given the impression he’s back home in Turkey.
Uploading the clip of a cafe called Cabra Loca in Nef Bahcelievler, which appears to be an area in west Istanbul, the defender also included an image of a cup of coffee.
One of the posts is accompanied by the message ‘herseki beklerim’ which translates to ‘I wait for everyone’.
Rangers want £5m for Ridvan amid Besiktas links
Whilst we cannot confirm if the images are new or old, the Instagram posts have certainly turned heads amongst Rangers fans.
Ridvan Yilmaz might’ve played the bulk of the match as Rangers were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United during the week, but the defender has been subject to a number of exit reports.
Not least back in his native Turkey.
The latest report in Türkiye Today suggests that Ridvan Yilmaz is in negotiations with Besiktas with regards a potential loan return this January.
This is the second time in a matter of days Yilmaz has been linked with a move to Besiktas.
The report claims Besiktas want to secure a loan-to-buy deal with Rangers for a player they sold to Ibrox for €4.5m (£3.8m) just two-and-a-half seasons ago.
Rangers are believed to value Yilmaz at £5m but Besiktas president Serdal Adali has not given up trying to strike a more creative deal.
With Rangers to travel to Dundee United later today, all eyes will be on whether Ridvan is in the Gers squad or not.
