One of the first players that Rangers were linked with this summer was Luis Palma.
The Aris winger has started the season well and is already off and running with the Greek outfit but, expectations were that he might be heading to Ibrox.
With Stoke City, according to The Daily Mail, talking to the Rangers-linked international, if Luis Palma is still a target, Michael Beale might have to wait until a couple of exits of his own are confirmed.

The speed at which the Gers gaffer has operated in this transfer window suggests that he has managed to sign a lot of his first-choice targets.
The free transfers were in early with Dujon Sterling, Keiran Dowell and Jack Butland all signed before the window technically opened.
But it was the forward line that needed updated the most and Beale has spent big on Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo, with Abdallah Sima joining on loan.
Rangers return for Luis Palma could depend on departures
If Rangers are still considering Luis Palma, it may be that any move depends on Fashion Sakala and Scott Wright moving on.

Both have had offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey respectively and it would appear to be out of the club’s hands.
Conveniently, the fees that they would bring in isn’t too far away from the reported £4.3m that Aris want for the Honduras international.
Should Sakala and Wright leave, only Sima and Rabbi Matondo can be said to have “real” pace out of the forwards that are left.
The players that have been signed are no slouches but they don’t have that same 5-10 yard acceleration.
Rangers could do with a player like Luis Palma should the transfers of Sakala and Wright go through but, they will need to move quickly if he is still on the shopping list.
