Michael Beale has revealed that there will be Rangers players departing in the coming days and one of those looks likely to be Scott Wright.
The 25-year old winger was signed from Aberdeen as part of the deal that saw Ross McCrorie move in the opposite direction but he hasn’t kicked on in the way that was hoped.
Speaking to Sky Sports, a departure from Rangers now seems inevitable for Scott Wright who gave an insight into why he is leaving, with Pendikspor already agreeing terms.
Wright is excited about the opportunity and revealed that talks with Michael Beale were behind his decision:
“It gives me a chance to go and play a bit more regular football.
“Obviously, I’ve had a conversation with Michael Beale and I need to try and play a wee bit more and we came to the conclusion that maybe it was time to move on.
“The club agreed a fee and I’ll go and have a look and see what I think.
“It’s an opportunity that excites me and one I’m looking forward to.”

Why Rangers are letting Scott Wright go
At his best, Rangers saw Scott Wright beating defenders for fun due to his lightning pace and ability on the ball.
The only issue was that, on too many occasions, he would choose the wrong option or lose possession.
Two assists last season and three the season before in over 30 games each time are not the numbers that Rangers need.
As a home-grown player and for the fee involved, Rangers were right to take a punt on Scott Wright.
A Scottish Cup winning goal might be his only real highlight, but it isn’t a bad one to leave with if he does decide that his future lies in Turkey.
