Rangers are leaving it late in the transfer window as Philippe Clement ticks off the players that he needs.
The manager has bolstered his squad with Neraysho Kasanwirjo with Nedim Bajrami also on the way but there are still one or two additions still to be made.
With Scott Wright away to Birmingham City, there is a gap for a winger and Sky Sports Mark McAdam has claimed that Rangers could be in for former Man City academy kid Samuel Edozie.

Rangers waiting for Samuel Edozie transfer decision
The England youth international is currently at Southampton and expected to leave on loan with McAdam naming Clement as being interested along with five other teams in the Championship.
Writing on X, McAdam revealed how the race will be decided:
“Samuel Edozie has multiple options to leave Saints on loan today. It’s believed Rangers, Sheffield Weds, Sheff U & Swansea as well as two other unnamed Championship clubs are all hoping to land the former Man City man. Up to the player to decide…”
Signed in a deal worth up to £10m, Edozie is an exciting talent who managed one senior appearance in his time at City but was a regular for the Saints as Russell Martin guided his side to the top-flight.
A natural left-winger, Edozie prefers to cut inside onto his right foot which makes him comfortable on the right flank as well.
As seen with Dujon Sterling and Calvin Bassey, the fringes of Premier League teams are a market that Rangers should be shopping in.
Edozie could be the quality that Clement needs
Rangers had been interested in Josip Brekalo, however, the Croatia international proved to be too rich for the budget available and has gone to Getafe.
Ibrahim Adel has also been mentioned after Pyramids rejected an offer from Getafe, it seems like Rangers have similar taste to the Spaniards.
Speaking after the win over Ross County, Philippe Clement explained what type of player he was wanting:
“The recruitment team, the board also, to pay the things and to make the decisions together with me to get a few good quality signings in this week.
“It’s going to be crucial if we want to be competitive like we want in the four competitions that we’re competing for. So it’s crucial to have a few extra players in, that’s for sure.”
Clement is right, Rangers ran out of steam last season purely because there wasn’t enough depth, especially in the forward line.
Bajrami is a start, a player like Edozie too before the window closes would be even better.
