Vanja Dragojevic appears all set to become the seventh summer signing for Rangers as Derek McInnes will have brought in his third midfielder.
Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin have already signed on the dotted line, and Jens Hjerto-Dahl may be the eighth arrival of the window.
Plenty of work is still left to be done on that one, but Dragojevic is all set to join Rangers this week.
Rangers News understands that the deal could be announced in the next 36 hours, with him likely being unveiled before the pre-season friendly against St Etienne.

Andy Devlin expects up to five more players to join Rangers
Reliable transfer news reporter Andy Devlin expects there to be five new signings following the arrival of Dragojevic.
He claims that McInnes is looking to address a number of areas, including bringing in a new centre-back as well as wingers.
Ben Godfrey has already joined on loan from Atalanta, but with Nasser Djiga and Derek Cornelius returning to their parent clubs and John Souttar set to seal his Ibrox exit, the Light Blues will be short in that department.

He was handed a new Rangers contract earlier this year.
Also, Mikey Moore may not return, and Andreas Skov Olsen certainly will not be back at Ibrox, which means that their two starting wingers from last season are currently not at the club.
McInnes is keen on signing replacements, ideally before the season kicks off at the end of July.
Devlin said: “Dragojevic takes that to seven, but I think there could be another four, possibly five, new players to come in before the window closes.
“There are obvious areas that he is now looking to turn his attention to and strengthen.
“Certainly the wide areas and centre half. These are areas that are now of pressing interest to Rangers to strengthen.”

Leicester City winger Stephy Mavididi has emerged as a Rangers target, with the club understood to be willing to pay £7m to sign him.
Vaclav Cerny is also liked by the Ibrox hierarchy, but it remains to be seen if the finances are in place to re-sign the Besiktas winger.
Amar Fatah has also been considered, who is currently at Troyes, but there have not been too many developments surrounding the 22-year-old.
