Rangers look to have already begun their summer recruitment with a host of names being linked to the club. One Scottish Premiership star has already signed too, with another reportedly on the way.
Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones will join up with the Rangers team in the summer after signing a pre-contract with the club in January. Any move for Jake Hastie is yet to be announced, but his current boss believes the deal is done.
There’s still plenty to think about as we head into the final furlong of the season. There will also be plenty of players set to leave the club too.
Here are the names who’ve been linked with moves in and out by the press in recent days.

Greg Stewart

Along with Jake Hastie, this one has been toddling along for a while. Stewart is a diehard bluenose and his prospective signing has been met with a mixed reaction by supporters.
It’s a big step up from Kilmarnock and Aberdeen, but there’s no doubt there’s a player in the Birmingham City forward. The Daily Record claims he’s already signed a three-year deal.

Mirko Maric

The big Croatian striker is another name being linked to Ibrox. The top scorer in the Croatian First League with 16 goals, Maric is also a full Croatian international.
Rangers will reportedly have to spend £3m to take him to Ibrox [originally Daily Record]. But with suggestions fellow NK Osijek connections Eros Grezda and Borna Barisic are set to be shipped out of the club [originally the Herald], is it a smart move?
The player is reportedly being lined up to replace star man Alfredo Morelos.

Out

Greg Docherty

As far as ridiculous transfers go, on first glance, this one isn’t too OTT. But scratch below the surface and you see there is little chance of it coming together.
The Scottish Sun claimed Hibs are monitoring the midfielder, who is currently tearing it up with Shrewsbury in League One. But after recent transfer behaviour from the Easter Road club, Rangers may be put off dealing with the Easter Road side.
