Scottish Premiership rivals Hibs are reportedly interested in a move for Rangers’ Greg Docherty as we look forward to next season.
The former Hamilton youngster joined Rangers 18 months ago and had a rocky first six months at the club.
But a loan move to Shrewsbury Town this season has shone the spotlight on the player. Doc has been one of the stand-outs in League One, earning rave reviews all season.
The Scottish Sun is claiming Hibs will lead the pack for the 23-year-old’s signature if Rangers decide to sell him this summer. That’s one big if too.

Docherty cost Rangers a reported £650k back in January 2018. The talented midfielder also signed a four-and-a-half year deal.
With three of those years remaining, it is highly unlikely Rangers would sell for anything less than a profit.
The youngster struggled to find his rhythm in the first six months at Ibrox. But being fair, so did half of the team.
Rangers toiled in the final stages of the 17/18 after Pedro Caixinha’s ill-fated reign and Graeme Murty’s time as caretaker. Docherty never really stood a chance.
Now, after a year with Shrewsbury under his belt and a full season of football, the player is set to return to Ibrox.
And even if Hibs are interested in a move, there is only one place the player himself wants to be. And that’s walking out in front of 50,000 fellow bluenoses every week.
