Rangers are backed to sell Nicolas Raskin for a club-record fee this summer, with two replacements named already.
The Light Blues are under no pressure to sell Raskin, as he is contracted to the club until 2028, but the general consensus is that now is the best time to cash in on the midfielder.
Raskin did little to reduce speculation around his future after he missed Rangers’ last three games of the season and was caught watching Celtic’s game against Hearts during his own team’s match at Falkirk.

Elliot Watt named as ideal Nicolas Raskin replacement
With two years left on Raskin’s contract, this summer represents the right time for Rangers to receive the best value for the midfielder.
There is a feeling that the Ibrox outfit could raise their asking price if the 25-year-old goes on to perform well at the 2026 FIFA World Cup for Belgium, with Kevin Kyle echoing the sentiment.
The former Rangers striker believes Danny Rohl‘s side could receive £20-25million for the ex-Standard Liege man after the World Cup.
While such an amount would give the Gers the financial freedom to bolster their ranks significantly, Kyle feels they would not have to spend big on a replacement for Raskin.

He went on to name Motherwell duo Elliot Watt and Callum Slattery, whose contract is set to expire this month, as ideal replacements for the Belgian.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, he said: “Belgium are still a good side internationally. So, Nicolas Raskin, if he has a half-decent World Cup, I think he will be away, and the Rangers could get that potential £20-25m then.
“That’s a lot of money to reinvest into the team. Rangers will say they don’t want to lose Nicolas Raskin, but a time comes up [for every player] at the club, and that’ll probably be, for Nicolas Raskin, this summer.
“I think there are some good centre midfielders out there. When Tony [Quinn, formerly of Queen’s Park] was on the phone, he was talking about the boy Slattery and the boy Watt.
“They are cheap replacements for somebody like Nicolas Raskin; they won’t cost a lot of money.”

Rangers would be naive to expect £20m+ for Raskin
Rangers’ most expensive sale ever is Calvin Bassey, who joined Ajax for an initial sum of £19.6m in 2022.
That means selling Raskin for £20m or more would break the Premiership heavyweights’ club record.
However, it would be naive of Andrew Cavenagh and Co. to expect such a sum for the 25-year-old.
While the Gers are well-placed to receive an eight-figure fee for Raskin, £20m or more would be too ambitious.
It is worth noting that no club have registered a concrete interest in the World Cup-bound player yet.
