Danny Rohl has issued an update on Nicolas Raskin ahead of the Rangers’ final game of the 2025/26 season.
The Gers have lost four games in a row after the Scottish Premiership split, and would want to end the campaign on a winning note.
It would not make any difference to where they finish, as they can end up no higher or no lower than third.
Is Danny Rohl’s treatment of James Tavernier a sackable offence?
He did not start Tavernier in his final Ibrox game…
Danny Rohl confirms that Nicolas Raskin will miss the Falkirk game
In his pre-match press conference ahead of the Falkirk game, Rohl confirmed that three players, including Raskin, will miss the game.
The Belgian was absent from the matchday squad against Celtic, and it was later revealed that he was injured.
Raskin also was not part of the side that lost 2-1 at home to Hibernian, and Rohl has stated that he is not fit enough to be available for the final game of the season as well.
Nicolas Raskin has been linked with a Rangers exit…
The 25-year-old is nursing a hamstring issue which has not recovered, and there is no point in risking him as he has the World Cup coming up.
An official announcement was made on Friday to confirm Raskin’s inclusion in the Belgium squad.
James Tavernier and Ryan Naderi have also been ruled out, while Dujon Sterling remains a doubt due to concerns over the pitch.

Why Raskin may never play for Rangers again
As Raskin is set to miss the final game of the season, he will not be playing domestic football again before the 2026/27 campaign.
Things could change in the next few months as a good World Cup would only increase the interest in his services.
The midfielder has already been linked with Premier League clubs, and one of them could make a serious move for him in the summer transfer window.
There is plenty of uncertainty surrounding the new project at Ibrox, and he may decide that he does not want to be a part of it.
It is down to Rohl to convince Raskin to stay should he have his head turned by a top side in England.
Also, the Gers may find it hard to resist a good offer that comes their way for the midfielder.
