January is almost over and the transfer deadline is coming with Rangers having signed just one player.
Rangers’ January transfer window began with the expectation of a number of deals being done, especially in defence with injuries to John Souttar and others.
But Rafael Fernandes is the only Gers addition so far, giving one more option at the back, although he hasn’t been ready to feature yet.
There hasn’t been a whole host of names linked either, although there has been some.
Kieran Dowell has checked out of Rangers on loan, along with Robbie Fraser and Cole McKinnon. There could be further departures before Monday night’s deadline.
Here, we take a look at the latest transfer news surrounding the Ibrox club on January 30.

Matondo exit beckons
Rabbi Matondo looks set to finally seal a move out of Rangers after his earlier switch to Coventry City broke down.
Clubs across Europe have been interested in the winger but the Sky Blues looked to have won the race, only for the plug to be pulled.
Ajax were linked with Matondo this morning after being “charmed” by the Welshman but he looks set to head elsewhere.
Matondo has been spotted in Germany, apparently speaking to representatives near Hannover 96’s stadium.
And a report in German outlet Bild claims he is in discussions with them about a deal.
Bobby Clark a Rangers ‘target’ again
Gers were interested in then-Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark last summer before he moved to Austria and RB Salzburg.
The move hasn’t worked out as well as hoped though and a return to the UK could be on the cards, with Rangers one of five sides interested in Clark .
Hamza Igamane still wanted
Hamza Igamane is the man-of-the-moment with a host of clubs in England and elsewhere tracking him.
It was yesterday claimed that Everton are ‘one step away’ from Igamane amid interest from others like Tottenham and Marseille.
Philippe Clement yesterday addressed the Igamane talk, saying: “I had the same in Genk, Leandro Trossard could have left earlier to go to the Premier League. We had talks with him about that, but also other players like Sander Berge.
“It’s important to do the right step at the right moment, because you see a lot of players make the step higher and not being ready and they’re losing themselves because they’re not playing because they were not ready.
“I have experience around it. I’ve been speaking with players around it also. I understand when it’s right for the club and the player, and it’s not nice as the manager to let them go.”
Kamara Saudi move in the pipeline?
Glen Kamara could be set for a money-spinning move to Saudi Arabia with talks underway between Rennes and Al Shabab, claims Fabrizio Romano.
The midfielder only moved to France from Leeds in the summer but already looks to be heading for the exit door, with Middlesbrough already showing an interest.
Simons set for £67.8m move
Xavi Simons was once an apparent Rangers target with Giovanni van Bronckhorst keen to get him on loan from PSG.
The midfielder has since been to PSV, bought back by Paris Saint-Germian, and then loaned to RB Leipzig.
And Simons has now completed a permanent move to the Germans worth £67.8m.
