Rangers fans are waiting with bated breath to see if the club bring in any more signings on transfer deadline day.
Centre-back Rafael Fernandes on loan from Lille is so far the only deal done in the way during the winter window with Gers having a quiet January.
It has been slightly underwhelming for supporters who had been hoping to see the squad strengthened and that will certainly be the case if Fernandes remains the only addition come 11pm tonight.
More defensive cover has been considered a need amid a raft of injuries, although John Souttar’s return was a welcome sight. While some additional firepower in attacking areas was hoped for too.
The manager seems to be on the same wavelength as fans as Philippe Clement admitted signings were a necessity.
It was possibly a pointed message to the Ibrox board, but will the Belgian be left disappointed when the deadline passes?

Rangers attacking option likely to be a loan
There seems to be mixed feeling around the potential for further Rangers business, with some believing that is the club done.
But there have been signs of potential activity with a last-gasp bid for Union Berlin striker Yorbe Vertessen. While that looks doomed to failure, it suggests Gers are not yet finished.
And the Rangers Review are now reporting that “Rangers are not yet closed for business.”
However, that is tempered slightly by the fact that any incoming transfer is likely to be a loan, with attacking areas prioritised. The club will hold out for the “right opportunity” instead of panicking.
Could any Rangers players leave on transfer deadline day?
Cyriel Dessers was one constantly linked with an exit, but he now looks set to stay until at least the summer. His recent displays have definitely suggested he can be useful.
Ridvan Yilmaz is also on the list of many clubs but Clement has played down the chances of the Turkish left-back leaving.
Zak Lovelace has also been tipped for a return to Millwall but the Belgian insisted the only reason he wasn’t in the squad to face Ross County was an injury.
