Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin is subject to interest from a host of Premier League clubs, with Hull City tabling a bid for him.

Hull City, having secured promotion to the Premier League, want to sign the Belgium midfielder, who is currently at the World Cup.

Raskin has decided to leave Rangers, and a move to the English top flight may tempt him.

Nicolas Raskin has been linked with a Rangers exit…

Rangers want £20m for Nicolas Raskin as Hull City table bid

The Tigers have put their money where their mouth is, submitting a bid in the region of £12m-£14m for Nicolas Raskin, according to BBC journalist Mike White.

Rangers News understands that the Light Blues are expected to turn it down as they are looking for a fee in the region of £20m.

The 25-year-old was one of the first names on the team sheet last season, and while the Gers are not actively looking to sell him, they also will not stand in the way of a player who wants to leave.

If Lewis Ferguson joins post the World Cup, who should Derek McInnes name the Rangers captain?

Raskin’s stock has also risen following his performances at the World Cup, and that will only benefit the Ibrox outfit.

It remains unclear whether or not Hull will table another bid, but if they believe that the midfielder is pivotal to their survival hopes, they surely can.

Given the Premier League’s riches, they will be in line for a massive transfer spend this summer, with the owners doing everything to ensure they avoid relegation.

The Gers hold the upper hand in negotiations, however, as they are aware of a number of clubs showing a keen interest in his services.

Which other clubs are keen on signing Raskin?

Bologna have shown a keen interest in signing Raskin this summer, and that link has drawn interest from the Gers fans.

That is because Lewis Ferguson plays at the Italian club, and there have been reports about a potential swap deal.

However, Rangers News understands that the two moves are independent of each other, and that no work has been done so far towards signing Ferguson.

Tottenham are also keeping tabs on Raskin as they look forward to another season in the Premier League, this time under Roberto De Zerbi.

Aston Villa were mentioned as potential candidates a few months ago, and it remains to be seen whether or not they rekindle their interest in the coming weeks.
