Rangers have been linked to transfers for four new midfielders as Jose Cifuentes, Harry Winks, Denis Huseinbasic and Kieran Dowell are the subject of summer reports.
The Ibrox club’s supporters are expecting a big summer of investment with Rangers boss Michael Beale claiming that four or five first-team signings can help the club regain the Premiership title.

But with several key players out of contract and patience running out for the same old faces letting the side down, Rangers fans suspect the number could be much higher in the coming months.
Rangers linked with four midfielders
Ecuadorean midfielder Jose Cifuentes perhaps represents the most exciting link of the bunch, with the LAFC star out of contract come the summer.
Rangers fans have been watching YouTube compilations aplenty of the midfielder but those Cifuentes links are tempered by reports Leeds Utd and Brighton are also watching.
As appealing an option as Rangers are, for South American players plying their trade in the MLS something tells us the Premier League is a bigger hook.
Harry Winks is another name doing the rounds this week, with the Sampdoria loanee a one time Ibrox link and Michael Beale revealing he was in Italy last week doing some digging on Rangers transfers.
Winks is certainly on high wages, but the former England international has a point to prove a la Todd Cantwell and could be another high-profile summer switch.
Another name who has been mentioned alongside potential transfers coming into Rangers is FC Koln midfielder Denis Huseinbasic, who only last season was in the German fourth tier with Kickers Offenbach.
Only 21-years-old, the Germany youth international is also being linked to Old Firm rivals Celtic with teams in England and France also credited.
And finally, there have also been strong links to Norwich City midfielder Kieran Dowell, who has been known to Rangers scouts since 2018 at the earliest.
Once strongly linked under Steven Gerrard, Michael Beale appears to familiar with the midfielder who is out contract in the summer but currently sidelined with a serious injury.
Whilst we don’t expect all four of these names to come to Rangers, the links are a stark warning to the club’s midfielders who’ve been underperforming this season.
There is some speculation surrounding the futures of high-earning midfielders John Lundstram and Glen Kamara, who could be the subject of transfers out of Rangers if their abysmal form continues this season.
