Lewis Ferguson has been linked with an emotional return to Rangers, with Barry and Derek Ferguson also chiming in with their views.
Barry Ferguson wants Rangers to sign his nephew as he believes that the attacking midfielder’s time at Bologna is coming to an end.
However, Derek Ferguson does not foresee a return to Scotland for his son in the upcoming transfer window.

Lewis Ferguson’s agent reveals his client’s transfer preference
Bill McMurdo, Lewis Ferguson’s agent, has revealed that his client would like to play in Europe’s top five leagues should he leave Bologna, which rules out a move for Rangers.
It’s understood that the 26-year-old and his agent will meet the Italian club to gauge what the situation is going into the new season.
Ferguson would fancy a move to England as well, should there be a Premier League club keen on securing his services.
However, McMurdo admitted that staying at Bologna is also an option and an extension there cannot be ruled out, as things stand.
Danny Rohl could leave amid links to RB Salzburg…
Who do you see replacing him?
He said: “Lewis has two years left on his contract.
“We’ll meet with the club soon to assess whether they’d like to offer him a contract extension or let it expire.
“Lewis is more than ready to play for one of the so-called big Italian clubs if they show interest in him and Bologna is willing to let him leave.
“He wants to play at the highest level possible and continue to develop his career.
“He would consider offers from any of the top five footballing countries, with Italy and England being his first choices.
“Lewis is more than happy to stay at Bologna, but he’s equally ready to take on any new challenge to advance his career.
“Any move, however, should be beneficial for all parties.”

Rangers set to back Danny Rohl ahead of next season
Rangers News exclusively reported on 5 May that Danny Rohl will stay at the club next season.
A week later, Rohl confirmed the news himself, stating that he had held conversations with the hierarchy over the last 48 hours, and they have told him that they have no plans to part ways with him.
He admits that everyone is seeing positives and that the backing behind him has been “unbelievable”.

His future was in jeopardy after three successive losses that put the Light Blues out of the Scottish Premiership title race.
Rohl said: “Yes. I think in the last 48 hours, there was unbelievable support from the board.
“Everyone around me sees a lot of positive things, but we are also critical of ourselves. I think there’s no question mark.”
