Rangers have edged a step closer towards securing the signing of Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl.
The Light Blues have been very active this summer, completing six transfers, but now look to be edging towards sealing another one.
Rangers are also set to sign Vanja Dragojevic, and there could be two signings announced ahead of the St Etienne game on 22 July.
What are your expectations from Jens Hjerto-Dahl at Rangers?
Rangers appear to be closing in on his signing!
Jens Hjerto-Dahl agrees personal terms with Rangers
Rangers have reached an agreement with Hjerto-Dahl over personal terms as he has decided to move to Ibrox.
That is according to Give Me Sport’s Sam C, who claims that the 20-year-old turned down opportunities from Cardiff City as well as Celtic.
Cardiff tabled a bid for Hjerto-Dahl, which was more than the Light Blues’ offer, but did not convince Tromso to accept.
Which formation should Derek McInnes use at Rangers?
Given the players he's got so far, there are a number of ways that the team can play…
Rangers’ chiefs flew down to Norway to finalise the deal, and their visit has proven to be successful.
Derek McInnes is understood to have played a major role in convincing the Norwegian about the project he is building at Ibrox.
The two clubs are still to agree on a fee, expected to be around £6.6m, but this is viewed as a major breakthrough, as there were fears that he would move to Cardiff City instead.

How can Vanja Dragojevic and Hjerto-Dahl play in the same team?
A welcome problem for McInnes to have will be how he can get the best out of Dragojevic and Hjerto-Dahl.
Neither midfielder will be joining to warm the bench, and will require a decent number of minutes over the course of the season.
The good thing is that, while both are midfielders, they are different kinds of players and could work in the same eleven.
Dragojevic is the deepest-lying midfielder and can play as the anchor man who shields the defence.
What are your expectations for Vanja Dragojevic at Rangers?
He brings captaincy credentials to Ibrox…
He is aggressive and a ball winner, helping in breaking up the play and passing the ball forward to someone like Hjerto-Dahl.
The Tromso midfielder is a more dynamic midfielder as he’s capable of playing a box-to-box role as well as a number eight.
He is calm on the ball, has good vision and is capable of making strides into the box and being a goal threat as and when needed.
