Rangers are now hoping to tie up not one but two signings before the transfer window slams shut late on Friday night.
The Gers have already tied up one deadline day signing as Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen make a late trolley dash.
Rangers have snapped up Feyenoord defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo, landing him on loan with an option to buy.
The Dutch media reported that deal was close overnight and Rangers confirmed the deal on Friday evening.
Rangers aren’t done there though and reports indicated that the Gers were working on more signings after securing Kasanwirjo.
Albanian playmaker Nedim Bajrami is poised to sign from Sassuolo but Rangers still have more deals in mind.

Rangers advance on Samuel Edozie
Reports from Sky Sports reporter Mark McAdam suggested that Southampton winger Samuel Edozie was deciding on a potential move to Rangers.
Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and Swansea City were also thought to be waiting on Edozie with two more Championship clubs keen.
Well, it seems that Edozie has now made his decision as a move to Rangers is believed to be advancing.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that Edozie is in ‘advanced talks’ to sign for Rangers before the window closes.
Edozie would be arriving on loan from Southampton for the rest of the season as he seeks first-team football.
The deadline is mere minutes away at this stage but Rangers will hope to push through Edozie’s arrival before the night is over.
The Athletic’s Jacob Tanswell adds that Rangers have agreed a deal for Edozie but the clock may be working against the Gers.
Samuel Edozie profiled ahead of potential Rangers move
Edozie started out in the Millwall ranks before being plucked by Manchester City at the age of just 16.
A tricky winger, Edozie hit five goals and four assists at Premier League 2 level but made just one first-team appearance for City.
City cashed in during the summer of 2022, selling Edozie to Southampton for a fee of around £10million, according to the Daily Mail.
Edozie featured 32 times for Southampton in the Championship last season, notching six goals and three assists as the Saints won promotion back to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old has even been likened to Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane by EFL pundit Adrian Clarke whilst speaking on the What The EFL?! podcast in 2023.
“I like him as a player, he reminds me a little bit of Leroy Sane, I know that’s high praise, but he’s got long legs and when he gets the ball he really wants to travel with it and take players on,” said Clarke. “I love to see that from a wide man, he’s like an old-fashioned winger in a way,” he added.
Edozie has come off the bench in Southampton’s first two Premier League games this season but may now be heading to Rangers for more first-team action.
