Michael Beale wasn’t joking when he said that Rangers were going to have a busy transfer window this summer and Kenny Miller agrees.
Four new faces have already arrived with five familiar ones departed, however, a lot of work still needs to be done in both directions as pre-season training looms.
Speaking to The Daily Record, Kenny Miller reckons that Michael Beale could be about to splash out as he looks to land targets for key Rangers positions.

The most obvious area of concern is in attack.
Michael Beale needs to get Rangers recruitment right
The contribution of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos for a combined 15 goals might not be hard to replace on paper but the manager has to get it right.
When asked about the return of Brendan Rodgers across the city, Miller has backed Michael Beale to provide a different Rangers test and that new signings could be the most influential:
“The signs are he’s got them going in the right direction in terms of the signings, the performance and results.
“The games against Celtic were down to fine margins.
“I’d expect three or four more to come in as well.
“There’s no doubt Brendan will be facing different animal this time. But he will want to make subtle changes as well.
“There’s talk about him having some money to spend and I can see him making maybe three or four big additions.”

Miller is right, with bids for Luis Palma and Cyriel Dessers said to have gone in, both well into seven-figures, it would appear that the Gers boss has a decent budget to spend.
He has utilised the free transfer market to good effect to upgrade a few areas but he is yet to get the striker and winger/attacking midfielder he so desperately needs.
Benie Traore has emerged as a new name in the last few days but, other than the usual suspects like Josh Maja, no other fresh and realistic targets have been reported.
James Bisgrove spoke earlier in the summer about Michael Beale being backed as Rangers boss, now, with the players not far away from returning to training, is the time to put his money where his mouth is.
