Fenerbahce have offered an initial three-year deal to Rangers winger Ryan Kent, according to reports coming out of Turkey.

Takvim are claiming that the Istanbul giants are eager to secure a move for the 26-year-old Ibrox attacker, who is out of contract and expected to leave come the summer.

Rangers manager Michael Beale hinted as much after the devastating Scottish Cup defeat to Celtic, with Ryan Kent hooked at half-time amid much conjecture surrounding his future.

Fenerbahce offer Ryan Kent three-year deal

Reports had claimed that Fenerbahce were determined to move for Ryan Kent last week and now the latest suggests the Super Lig club are set to make that interest more concrete.

The Takvim report believes that Fenerbahce have offered Ryan Kent a three year deal, with the option of another year, as they look to lure him to Turkey.

They say that the Yellow-Navy Blues want to complete the deal by the end of the season as the conversation continues around Kent’s Rangers future.

Fenerbahce aren’t the only side said to be interested, with Premier League Burnley also extensively linked to Ryan Kent as Vincent Kompany looks to bolster his post-promotion Clarets.

Change in the Ibrox air

Rangers fans have had enough of lacklustre displays from the likes of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos as their contracts tick down.

Signed for a reported £7m from Liverpool in 2019, it’s a shocking of indictment of the woeful squad management at Ibrox that Kent is set to leave Rangers for nothing come the end of the season.

Rangers manager Michael Beale has been clear that change is in the offing and whilst the departure of Ryan Kent will be the end of an era, fans can get excited about the summer to come.

“It will be the biggest rebuild this club has seen in a number of years,” said Beale following defeat to Celtic.

“You have to be respectful, you come in in November and you know changes will be made.

“But I’ve got a group of players that I need to manage and keep moving forward and motivate for the games.

“It’s obvious I’m not going to condemn people and send them away.

“But it’s also obvious that we are getting to the summer and there will be some change.

“If you don’t hear anything, then people’s contracts are running out and it gives you a good indication that there is change in the air.

“We’ve been in need of the summer for a while and we need some new faces and new energy. We need to be better.”
