Turkish giants Fenerbahce could be looking to hijack any Burnley move for Rangers winger Ryan Kent as his contract ticks down at Ibrox.
The Gers are preparing for life without their £7m winger after reports emerged regarding serious interest from Vincent Kompany’s side.

But those Burnley links to Ryan Kent may well be tempered by news coming out of Turkey concerning potential interest from Instanbul juggernauts Fenerbahce.
The ex-Liverpool star might have gone off the boil a little at Rangers this season but his stand-out performances in the Europa League and in delivering 55 have not gone unnoticed.
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Ryan Kent is a genuine target for Fenerbahce heading into next season as he weighs up his options heading into the summer.
This comes despite Rangers insiders Heart & Hand appearing to confirm the Burnley interest in Kent during the week, the Ibrox media partners claiming the Premier League-bound outfit will complete their final scouting in the coming weeks.
Ryan Kent still wanted at Rangers despite Burnley, Fenerbahce interest
The news of the gathering interest will surely disappoint Rangers manager Michael Beale too, with the ex-Liverpool youth coach claiming that he is determined to keep Ryan Kent at Ibrox.
“We’ve had discussions around it and we’ve both parked everything until we’ve found a moment,” said Beale.
“We’ll sit and have another chat. We’re both cool, we’re both on the same page and I think it’s right after the amount of years he’s been here and the changes with his third manager here as well that he takes time to consider his options,” said Beale.
“It’s the same that we do as well. We’ve not put anything in front of him, we’ve just had conversations, at this moment in time that’s the best place to be.
“Is Ryan Kent playing very well at this moment in time? Yes, so there’s no issue. We just keep moving forward, I’m still building the squad that I want for next year and if he’s in it’s because he desperately wants to be here.
“If he’s out it’s because he doesn’t so it’s quite clear in that sense. Our relationship will always remain the same. It’s a young boy that I saw at the start of his journey so I’m quite proud with what he’s achieved so far in his career.”
Whether it’s Burnley or Fenerbahce, Ryan Kent certainly looks to be edging his way out of Rangers as the club look ahead to a substantial summer of transfer dealings.
Between the two, Turf Moor might have the bright lights of the Premier League but the 50k seater Sukru Saracoglu might be more of what the Ibrox winger is used to.
