As Rangers fans continue to lick their wounds after the defeat to Liverpool, there’s a sinking feeling that the Ibrox support’s faith is dwindling in winger Ryan Kent.
Regarded as one of the club’s key players, the ex-Anfield winger has been so far off it this season it’s left plenty scratching their head as to why the 25-year-old keeps getting selected.

And now in the final year of his contract, Rangers fans are facing up to the notion that such a talented player’s Ibrox career is threatening to go out with a whimper.
In a matter of months Ryan Kent will be free to discuss terms with other clubs and as his contract ticks down there’s a feeling amongst fans that the winger will move on.
If he continues to put in the sort of apathetic performances we’ve been seeing lately, there are major doubts that he’ll be a great miss.

There is still so much to play for this season and Ryan Kent does have time to turn things around – whether he plans to move on next summer or not – and fans will be hoping the campaign ends with smiles all round.
But for that to happen the club needs more from one of its key players who is serially underperforming and flattering to deceive.

But it also needs to be a turning point for Ryan Kent, whose final few months at Rangers may well wind up defining where he ends up in the future.
In the aftermath of Rangers’ painful Champions League defeat to Liverpool, one Ibrox director continues to get it in the neck.
