High-profile Rangers striker target Danilo has wiped current club Feyenoord from his Twitter account amid reports that he is closing in on a move to Ibrox.
The 24-year-old Brazilian frontman also took to social media to share images of himself and fellow Brazilian teammate Igor Paixao alongside a verse from the Bible.
Danilo is known to be close with Igor Paixao and whilst the message doesn’t exactly say so, there are plenty taking this as a goodbye of sorts.
On top of that, Danilo has also wiped Feyenoord from the personal details of his Twitter account with the striker no longer pictured in the Eredivisie club’s kit on the social media platform.
The Brazilian has also removed any mention of Feyenoord in his bio on Twitter with reports in 1908 now suggesting Rangers have agreed a fee of around €6m (£5m) to bring Danilo to Ibrox from De Kuip.
The striker has also put the picture of himself looking out across the ‘Blue Sea of Ibrox’ and towards the UK as his header photograph after the same picture sent transfer sleuths a-sleuthing last week.

Notable Danilo Twitter changes amid intensifying Rangers links
Whilst social media, and Twitter in particular, is never a solid barometer for these things, given the backdrop of reporting around Danilo the changes on the player’s account have got fans talking.
But if you want a recent example of things not being as they appear on the platform, or in fans reading between the lines and getting it wrong, you need only look at Fashion Sakala.
The attacker had been strongly linked to Saudi Arabia in the days before wiping Rangers from his account, instead uploading images associated with Zambia.
The changes came whilst the African nation’s womens’ team is currently at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The intensifying links to Danilo come after Michael Beale played it cool on the player following the weekend’s 2-1 friendly victory over HSV at Ibrox.

Rangers boss Beale admitted that the Gers are interested in signing the Brazilian, but that the club face stiff competition and that they are negotiations with other targets.
The striker was also dropped by Feyenoord manager Arne Slot for the Dutch club’s pre-season friendly with Hoffenheim due to the Rangers speculation, although the forward did score an absolute screamer in the second half of the match.
Whatever the case, Rangers now appear to have stepped up their hunt of Danilo and going by the player’s Twitter account, there is something rumbling in the background with Feyenoord.
