Rangers travel to Fir Park to take on a rejuvenated Motherwell and will most likely have one eye on a player who has breathed new life into the Lanarkshire side. David Turnbull.
The Scotland youth international midfielder has been a breath of fresh air for Well. Particularly in the second half of the season.
Alongside another talented young Scot in Jake Hastie, they’ve catapulted Well into 8th. Rangers are also rumoured to be interested in Turnbull, at least according to Four Lads Had a Dream. And why wouldn’t they be?

At only 19-years-old he has become a mainstay of this youthful Motherwell side. He is a composed midfielder, who breaks late into the box and is good for a goal or ten.
David Turnbull has hit nine league goals this season from midfield, an impressive tally for one so young. He also nabbed another in the Challenge Cup.

This is another reason why it makes sense for Rangers to be considering the player. A lack of goals from midfield has been one of the main differences between Rangers and Celtic this season.
The midfielder,
who is valued at £100k by Transfermarkt, recently signed a new deal at Motherwell. It ties him to the club until 2021.

That means Rangers will need to stump up if they want to secure his services. But he certainly looks like a top talent. Rangers will have one eye on his performance for Motherwell today.
Speaking of Motherwell youth talent, could another get himself back into Steven Gerrard’s thoughts today?
