Are these the ten players Rangers are looking at this transfer window?

Rangers are set for a busy transfer window as the club look to topple Celtic’s supremacy atop the Scottish Premiership.
Steven Gerrard has spoken about the need for a little bit of “magic” as Rangers look to add some quality to the ranks.
Whilst we’ve been linked to a range of players, most of all the talk is rumour. And club insider Four Lads Had a Dream has listed the ten main transfer rumours swirling at Ibrox.

Motherwell youngster Jake Hastie is the first name on the list.
Reports suggested the deal was done earlier in the week [Football Insider] but Four Lads suggest things aren’t over the line yet.
Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie is another name linked with Ibrox. This is one both clubs deny but the reliable insider suggests things might not be as they first appear. It’s one to watch.

Rangers looking at a host of players

The blog also considers the future of Birmingham and on-loan Aberdeen forward Greg Stewart. This one has intensified with reports suggesting Rangers are ready to swoop [originally Daily Record].
They also consider Lewis Holtby, who was linked with a move last week after news broke of his intention to leave Hamburg. The former German international is available on a free.
They then discuss the possibility of another Motherwell youngster joining the club. David Turnbull looks a real prospect at Motherwell and Rangers are said to have one eye on him.

Four Lads then discuss defensive links to the likes of Curtis Tilt and Vassilis Lambropoulos [originally SDNA] before dismissing the
Stewart Downing [originally Teeside Live] links as “nonsense”.
Nick Powell [originally
Scottish Sun] is another name being linked with Ibrox in the transfer window, with 22-year-old Pogon Szczecin striker Adam Buska also said to be a target.
Whilst Four Lads reiterate that all of these rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt, they give an idea of the kind of player being realistically linked with Ibrox.
