The transfer window hasn’t even opened yet and there’s plenty of talk swirling at Ibrox. Between youngsters on loan, and youth talents signing for the Academy, we’ve got plenty to talk about.
After the signings of Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Steven Davis were confirmed, Rangers fans are still waiting on the fourth. Reports suggested it would be Greg Stewart, but so far, we’ve heard nothing from the club.
That means there’s still a chance number four could be someone else. So, without further ado, here’s the latest names being linked with a move to Glasgow.

Sheyi Ojo
Reputable club insider Four Lads Had a Dream has this one down as “all but done”. The powerful 21-year-old Liverpool winger is said to be agreeing on a new deal at Anfield, before joining up at Ibrox [Daily Star]. According to Four Lads, this deal will have no bearing on the Kent saga.

George Edmundson
Rangers reportedly had a bid for the talented Oldham centre half rejected recently. So far, we don’t appear to have returned with another offer. But there is some good news surrounding the player – the 21-year-old reportedly just rejected a new Oldham deal [Daily Record].

Seny Dieng
Queens Park Rangers stopper Seny Dieng was linked to the club as Rangers reportedly look to sign a keeper [Pete O’Rourke]. The Swiss goalkeeper impressed for Dundee in the second half of the season and could be one for the future.

Ryan Kent
The one all Rangers fans want. Ryan Kent’s summer transfer remains completely up-in-the-air. Rangers have made an offer and the deal is in Liverpool’s hands. That said, one prominent journalist believes the player is a shoo-in to wind up at Ibrox.

Umaro Balde
The highly-rated Sporting Lisbon youth player is said to be nearing a move to the Ibrox Academy [Evening Times]. This is an exciting prospect and its refreshing to see the club attract young European talents.
Albert Rachi
Another one for the future, the Albanian youngster and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is interesting our Academy [Evening Times]. Rachi is a pacey, creative midfielder player, and at 15 has a long way to go before reaching the first team.
