Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne is planning a January move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to a report in France.
The Colombian striker has scored 22 goals for the Ibrox club this season, but now has 23 goals in total after his first strike for Colombia during the international break.
Rangers are adamant the striker isn’t for sale, but that hasn’t stopped Le Progres claiming former Leicester City boss Claude Puel is planning a move.

Morelos was the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership last season and has gone from strength-to-strength under the management of Steven Gerrard.
Now one of the hottest properties in European football, Morelos’ form has led the likes of Neil McCann to claim that the forward is worth £25m+ to the Gers [Neil McCann].
St. Etienne aren’t the only side said to be interested in moving for the talented 23-year-old Colombian international.
Premier League outfit Crystal Palace [Scottish Sun] are reportedly considering a £20m move in the coming transfer window, whilst Aston Villa have been routinely linked to the player.
Villa manager Dean Smith gave a not-so-subtle hint [Scottish Sun] that they were watching the player earlier in the season.

That hasn’t started Rangers boss Steven Gerrard [BT Sport] or the club’s new sporting director Ross Wilson [STV] panicking ahead of the window.
Both have suggested that the club is under absolutely no pressure to part ways with the Ibrox talisman.
