“Suso’s got all of his scouts out looking at things, but January is a long, long way at the moment and we’ve got a lot of games to play,” he said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.

Smith wasn’t willing to admit interest in Morelos, but it sounds like the Villa Park outfit will be looking to strengthen to some extent during the next window.

Up front is an area in which they could look to get reinforcements, given that Wesley and Jonathan Kodija are the club’s only out and out forwards. It’s not like the team are desperately short of goals though, having scored 12 in their last four games in all competitions.

It’s no wonder there are rumours swirling about El Bufalo considering his current form.
