For all of his much-publicised disciplinary problems, Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is undoubtedly one of Scottish football’s brightest talents.
Over the last two seasons, the player has matured into a footballer of real quality in the final third. Ruthless, aggressive, efficient.
And whilst he might be taking a little longer to mature off-the-ball, Rangers appear to be casting their sights elsewhere. Does that mean the club are ready to cash in on their prized asset?

On the other side of it, should he stay at Rangers, the club has a precocious if not rugged young talent on their hands for the assault on the Scottish Premiership.
Someone who is another year older, another year wiser, and who appears ready to learn from his mistakes. Morelos is also someone who could really blow this league away next year.

After signing a new contract in March, Rangers won’t let the player leave on the cheap.
But if the reports linking us to Gray and Maric are anything to go by, Rangers seem to be preparing for the eventuality of the player’s departure.
