Rangers are “willing to listen to offers” for Eros Grezda, according to a new report from the Daily Record.
The news outlet claims that the Ibrox club is willing to wave goodbye to a player who has struggled to settle in Scottish football.
The 24-year-old wideman cost the club £1.8m in the summer but hasn’t come close to paying back the extravagant fee. An Albanian international, we were told he was a £20m player in the making [Evening Times].

By the looks of things, Rangers will be happy to get less than a tenth of that this summer. If Grezda is to be shifted this summer, Rangers’ recent transfer dealings also start to become clearer.
The club is reportedly close to signing Liverpool youngster Sheyi Ojo on loan [
Daily Record]. The powerful young winger plays in the same position as Eros Grezda.

Does Eros Grezda sale open door for Sheyi Ojo?

Many believed it to be foolish that in the wake of the Ojo news, Rangers are still pursuing Ryan Kent [The Scottish Daily Mail (10/6, back page)]. But Ojo could well act as the replacement for Grezda.
Jamie Murphy is also set to return from injury, whilst Jordan Jones, Jakes Hastie and Greg Stewart can also play in the position. Youngster Glenn Middleton looks set to join Doncaster Rovers [Daily Record].
It just makes sense to move Grezda on with such a wealth of potential competition, should there be offers for the player. The Record report claims his agent said there are interested parties.

Given the hype surrounding the player pre-Rangers, there must be some talent in there.
Sometimes players don’t settle or suit a club for whatever reason, and should Grezda move on, and Rangers recoup what they paid, he’ll leave with the club’s best wishes.
