Meanwhile, it’s claimed no decision has been made on Ryan Kent’s future.

Ojo comes to Rangers on the back of a 2018/19 stint in Ligue 1. He turned out 15 times for Stade de Reims in the French top flight, playing 90 minutes against PSG in September.

When confirmed, this will be another addition in wide areas for Steven Gerrard.

He’s already brought in Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie on pre-contract agreements. With Jamie Murphy returning to fitness also, competition for places is set to be fierce.

However, it’s said that both Hastie and teenage talent Glenn Middleton are set to leave on loan [Scottish Sun].

A pacy player who prefers operating on the right side, Ojo will be the most recent of several Liverpool players to make a temporary switch to Ibrox.

Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria moved north last season, with the former much more successful than the latter.
