The Rangers U18s development side hit their Huddersfield equivalents for 9 as Rangers romped to a 9-1 win at the Hummel Training Centre this afternoon.
Four doubles from Nathan Young-Coombes, Alex Lowry, Matty Yates and Cole McKinnon were complimented by a solitary strike by Kane Ritchie-Hosler in a commanding performance.

It continues the pre-season preparations for David McCallum’s side and this is a very impressive result against Huddersfield, a club which had Premier League status until this season.
The exciting young Rangers side continues to go from strength to strength.
Building on the no fewer than four trophies Rangers’ development players were involved in last season, the Rangers youths seem to be improving game by game.
The club’s U18s Reserves League victory means they will play in the UEFA Youth League this season for the first time.
Off the back of the ALKASS Cup and Scottish FA Youth Cup wins, the world is really at the feet of these young players.

If the youngsters continue to perform like this, there’s no reason they can’t leave an impact on the Youth League.
It is considered the Champions League of youth football.
