The Rangers U18s might’ve just celebrated winning the Scottish Youth League, but that’s not all they’ve achieved this season.
On top of winning the league title, the young Gers pipped Celtic to win the FA Youth Cup this season. Several members of the U18s squad also lifted the ALKASS Cup in Qatar.
And to top it all off, the youngsters also qualify for the UEFA Youth League as a reward for lifting the league title. It’s the first time Rangers will compete in the tournament.

Set up in 2013, the competition somewhat replicates the UEFA Champions League but at U-19 level.
This is the highest level, at this level, and it is a just reward for what’s been an amazing season for the young Gers.
They will be testing themselves against the very best Youth teams in Europe, including potentially the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Unlike the Champions League, the UEFA Youth League has 64 teams, double the amount in the main competition.
A total of 32 sides qualify as “domestic champions”. This is how Rangers have qualified. Another 32 qualify as the youth teams of the sides which qualify for the Champions League, who are all invited to include a team in the tournament.
It’s an exciting prospect for the youngsters. And given just how successful they’ve been this year, you wouldn’t put it past them making a big impact at the tournament.
