The excitement is palpable amongst Rangers fans as 49ers Enterprises close in on a landmark takeover at Ibrox.
The leading international US sports consortium, which owns Premier League-bound Leeds United, are closing in on a deal to takeover 51% of Rangers alongside US healthcare mogul Andrew Cavenagh.
Rangers admitted the US interest earlier in April with the heavily-backed American backers set to sweep into Ibrox a time of great change.
With the club already appointing a new sporting director in Kevin Thelwell, attentions are turning to the 49ers Enterprises deal and to who will become the next Rangers manager.
But before all that, Rangers have taken another seismic step towards the buyout with several key players at 49ers Enterprises being spotted Ibrox.

Leeds United chairman Paraag Marathe is back in the UK as the 49ers chief looks to assess the situations at Elland Road and at Ibrox.
Leeds are considering Daniel Farke’s future whilst there are also plans afoot to increase the capacity of the club’s Elland Road ground.
Rangers fans meanwhile are waiting on any update they can find on the 49ers group’s Gers interest with mysterious photographs inside Ibrox turning heads.
Since these images appeared online, STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj has offered some clarity with a snap of Patrick Stewart showing Paraag Marathe around the stadium.
Key players in Rangers takeover deal spotted in Glasgow
There are several key players in the US takeover in attendance at Ibrox ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm derby clash with Celtic in Glasgow’s southside.
Paraag Marathe is a key figure in the takeover and his presence at Ibrox alongside Patrick Stewart is a surefire indicator that the US buyout is reaching its final stages.
Marathe has previously avoided questioning on Rangers but is now visibly engaging as part of the deal.
49ers Enterprises technical director Gretar Steinsson is in attendance after helping Rangers in their pursuit of new sporting director Kevin Thelwell.
US healthcare mogul Andrew Cavenagh has also been spotted at Ibrox after being in attendance at several of the Ibrox club’s matches in recent months.
