Rangers star Nikola Katic has sent a firm message to his followers on Instagram with a post that gives further insight into his remarkable work ethic.
The Croatia international missed the entirety of the 2020/21 campaign with a serious knee injury sustained in pre-season.

He spent much of the season doing rehab back home, but returned to Glasgow in May and did some individual work on the pitch at Ibrox during the final training session of the season.
Katic got the chance to celebrate with his teammates on trophy day but he was soon back at it at Auchenhowie, wowing supporters with his efforts in the gym.
It looked like the 24-year-old had taken a break from his programme for a holiday when he posted a poolside photo in a Rangers 55 bucket hat last week.

However, a follow-up post on Tuesday confirmed that although he’s away in the sun, he’s still putting in the hard yards.

Katic uploaded a photo in which he’s doing leg exercises with a training partner beside a pool, with mats and other weights equipment laid out.
The Gers star is clearly focused on getting his reps in rather than gazing at the scenic backdrop and he captioned the post ‘No surrender’.
By the time of writing, it had received over 10k likes and many Bears praised him for his efforts to get back to full fitness ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Katic faces a tough task to get back into the reckoning with Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, Leon Balogun and Jack Simpson all providing competition, while George Edmundson has returned from a stint at Derby.
Given that he’s a firm fan favourite, plenty of Bears will be hoping that Steven Gerrard gives him playing time rather than sending him out on loan.
In other news, a Rangers star made a well-timed return from injury on Tuesday as a major opportunity beckons.
