So far in Philippe Clement’s Rangers enure he has had to make do, largely, with what he has got, however, Rabbi Matondo has joined the growing list of those returning to first team training.
Tom Lawrence has looked sharp in the last two games, Kieran Dowell and Jose Cifuentes are available and Kemar Roofe will be fit enough for a cameo appearance against Sparta Prague.
His hands are still a little bit tied until these players are fully fit but, out of all of them, the Rangers manager must be looking forward to seeing Rabbi Matondo back to his best who has now returned to training as revealed by the manager.

Rangers have Rabbi Matondo return coming soon
The Wales international was our best player at the start of this season.
He looked sharp, confident and his decision making had improved significantly, finally looking like the player we paid a reported £2.5m for.
Two goals and two assists in his first nine games, or to be more exact, a goal contribution every 110 minutes, showing that he deserved his chance after being close to the exit in the summer.
Rangers, after a strange transfer window, are short of options in wide areas with only Abdallah Sima, Scott Wright and Ross McCausland as natural wingers alongside Rabbi Matondo.
What Philippe Clement has shown is that these players can thrive in his system and seeing the flying Welshman back on the training pitch will give him cause for optimism.
This week’s games may have come too early for Matondo but the international break will give him a chance to get up to speed for a key run of fixtures on the other side which could well decide which way the title race goes.
Clement knows only too well how destructive Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo can be after seeing him destroy his Club Brugge side as a teenager.
Hopefully, when he returns to competitive action, the Matondo that we saw at the beginning of this season is the one we see again.
