Rangers-linked winger Luis Palma has taken to Instagram to drop the biggest hint yet that his future lies away from Greek side Aris.
Uploading a story to his official Instagram account, the Honduran attacker, 23, shared an image of his kit alongside teammates Mateo Garcia and Juan Iturbe alongside the caption “the last dance”.
The Latino front three have helped Aris to a strong finish in the Championship side of the table, with the clash against Panathinaikos the club’s final game of the season.
The message would suggest that – at the very least – the front three will be split up next season with Honduran Luis Palma linked to Rangers and Paraguayan attacker Juan Iturbe soon out of contract.
Argentine right-winger Mateo Garcia has a year left on his deal in Greece and, unless he moves this summer, he could be the only player of the Latin American trio left at the club.
For what it’s worth, Juan Iturbe started the match and scored Aris’ goal in a 1-1 draw, while Luis Palma and Mateo Garcia came off the bench in the second half.
The result means Aris finished fifth in the Greek Super League this season and, after the Instagram message, it would appear Luis Palma is preparing to leave the club this summer.
Rangers-linked Luis Palma drops Instagram hint
Rangers have been extensively linked with Luis Palma but reports have claimed it could take up to €5m (£4.4m) to sign the player permanently.
Rangers could view Palma – who netted 13 times for Aris in a productive campaign – as a potential replacement for the increasingly exit-bound Ryan Kent.
The Honduran represents an exciting link for Rangers supporters as the Scottish Premiership season trundles to an end under Michael Beale.
Rangers have not put up enough of a fight in the face of Celtic’s dominance and change is set to be welcomed across the club, with several players now being linked to Ibrox.
After the latest Instagram message from Luis Palma, expect those Rangers reports to ramp up as the Ibrox side look to secure their summer business early ahead of the Champions League qualifiers.
