Rangers protracted January move for pre-contract Finnish international Glen Kamara could well be off – at least according to reports.
Journalist Bill Young of Rocksport tweeted yesterday that Kamara could join up in the summer instead. It is a blow for Rangers, who thought their midfield would be beefed up by his imminent arrival.

But all Young says is that one of his sources claims it “looks like” the Kamara deal could be pushed back to June. Could Rangers yet pounce on the Arsenal Academy graduate?
Steven Gerrard didn’t mention the midfielder when he spoke about transfer targets in his press conference earlier. He only mentioned Matt Polster and trialist Stefan Marinovic.
But it would certainly be strange if Rangers didn’t make a permanent January move for Kamara. Dundee Manager Jim McIntyre was resigned to losing the midfielder, all the talk centred around the gangly Finn leaving.

But Dundee want to be suitably reimbursed for his early exit from Dens Park. Either by cash or through a loan player.
The Dees failed in an attempt to bring Ross McCrorie to the club earlier in the window.
Steven Gerrard reiterated how important the Scotland U21 captain is to Rangers plans this season and beyond.
But with Jordan Rossiter available for loan, could the young Scouser be used as a makeweight in the deal instead?
It remains unconvincing that the Kamara deal is completely off the table for this month, but it is certainly not as shored up as it seemed last week.
