Over the last week, rumours have been swirling about Rangers midfielder, Ross McCrorie.
Initially, a report suggested that the 20-year-old was a key target for Swansea City.

The Finland international recently
signed a pre-contract agreement, which was set to see him join the club in the summer.
However, Dundee are reportedly willing to let him go this month. That is, if they get a Rangers player in return.
McCrorie’s name was
touted as Dee boss Jim McIntyre’s first preference.

During a press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s Scottish Cup clash, he was categorical about the club’s stance on McCrorie.
It’s exactly what Rangers fans wanted to hear.
McCrorie is a homegrown talent with bags of potential. It would be crazy to let him go elsewhere this early in his career, no matter how much interest there is in his services.
Thankfully, Gerrard sees it the same way.
In fact, he went a step further, to again echo the thoughts of some of the fans.
He sees McCrorie as a future leader of the football club.
High praise indeed from one of the most celebrated captains in British football, since the turn of the century.
One things for sure, all rumours can now be firmly put to bed.
