There’s been plenty of Rangers transfer gossip floating around this window, and it’s looking like Rangers are set to end January as they started it. With a flurry of signings.
Things have gone quiet in the middle of the month in terms of players being confirmed. But the transfer machine has been in overdrive with all the names linked to Ibrox.
Here, we round-up the Rangers transfer gossip in one place and look forward to what might be a hectic week at Ibrox.

Are three deals close? – enquiries made
Out of all the names linked with Ibrox, three deals in particular appear to have gathered the most traction.
Club insider Four Lads Had a Dream said yesterday Rangers remain interested in five signatures. They claim the deal for Matt Polster is “done”. However, Steven Gerrard said today that “there’s been nothing concrete” and the move depends on Polster securing a work permit.
The protracted transfer of pre-contract signing Glen Kamara could be concluded soon too. Dundee boss Jim McIntyre appears resigned to losing his star midfielder this window. After Dundee expressed an interest in Ross McCrorie in the window, Rangers may have to send a player to Dens Park on loan in return. Gerrard didn’t mention the player in his pre-match press conference, but is that because he’s already signed a pre-contract?

Rangers battling for two important signatures – one a pre-contract
In the same Four Lads blog, they claim Rangers representatives took a trip to meet a “secret” player, the identity of whom remains a mystery. In doing so, Gerrard and co cancelled their trip to go see reported pre-contract target Karlan Grant.
Rangers remain interested in snapping Charlton’s top talent up for next season. His future could be determined before the end of the transfer window. It’s certainly one to watch, even if Charlton remain “confident” of securing his future.

No approach for Morelos
The Daily Record reported this morning that Patrick Viera’s Nice are preparing to lodge an £8m bid for Rangers’ talisman Alfredo Morelos. The striker had been the subject of much Rangers transfer gossip prior to the reported interest from France.
Most Rangers fans have laughed off the bid. They feel it’d take at least double that to get the club’s tail wagging. Not that Gerrard is interested in entertaining any bids.
