Danny Rohl is feeling the heat at Rangers after back-to-back defeats in the Scottish Premiership following the split.
Rangers lost 3-2 at home to Motherwell and followed it up with a defeat against Hearts that all but ended their title hopes.
The Light Blues are seven points behind Hearts on the SPFL table and could finish outside the top two as well.

Will Rangers sack Danny Rohl if they fail to win the league?
If he goes, who would be a good replacement for him?
Rangers can afford to sack Danny Rohl ahead of next season
Adam Williams, GRV Media’s Head of Finance and Governance Content, analysed Rangers‘ books and claims that the club can afford to sack Rohl should they want to.
The Light Blues have more than £30m of cash in the bank and could use some of that money to pay off the German.
They would also not need to pay him the full salary he would have made until the end of his current contract, as there would be a clause that would have been agreed at the time he joined.
Gennaro Gattuso would certainly be a great candidate to manager Rangers…
What do YOU make of his Ibrox return? 🤔
Explaining the nuances of managerial contracts, Williams told Rangers News: “Rangers have over £30m of cash in the bank at their last financial reporting date. If they wanted to sack Danny Rohl, they could certainly afford to.
“He was appointed on a two-and-a-half-year deal and will be on a decent salary, but there will probably be a liquidated damages clause in the contract that says they can dismiss him for a fixed fee – a year’s salary, say – if certain conditions aren’t met. That’s almost always the case with managerial contracts.
“It’s very rare that you pay up the remainder of the contract straight up. So the financial impact of getting rid of him would be negligible, which means that they can make the decision based on strategy and footballing reasons solely.“

What have sources said about Rohl’s future?
Rangers News exclusively reported on Rohl’s situation, stating that he has the unanimous support of the ownership.
Plans have already begun for the summer transfer window, and they do not want to jeopardise it by changing the manager.
While back-to-back defeats and a trophyless season are disappointing, the hierarchy have been pleased with a lot of aspects since Rohl has taken over, and are backing him going into the new season.
Things could obviously change if they lose their next three games and that would see pressure mounting from the fanbase.
Currently, there are sections that want Rohl sacked, but he still holds the support of the majority of the fans.
