Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has sent a resounding message for anyone doubting Alfredo Morelos’ commitment to Rangers after his side dismantled FC Midtjylland.
The Ibrox side romped to a 4-2 victory against the Danish side in a sweeping, dominant performance with the Colombian international leading the line superbly in Herning.
Morelos opened the scoring and assisted another two as Rangers set the tone in the tie. And Steven Gerrard believes Morelos set the tone for his Rangers future in doing so.

“We’ve come away from home and scored four goals. We had some outstanding individual performances,” said Steven Gerrard, speaking to RangersTV.
“I thought Jon Flanagan in his first start was immense, two centre backs fantastic again, Joe Aribo gets an unbelievable goal, the work rate the midfield put in as a whole, Scott Arfield gets a lovely little pass finish.
“If anyone was doubting big Buff’s (Morelos) commitment to this club, just watch that 90 minutes because I thought he was outstanding.”
