A Daily Star report has claimed that West Ham are looking into the possibility of signing Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos for £10m.
In what the paper calls a “cut-price choice”, the Star claims that Morelos “could be available” for the knockdown price.
West Ham have just shelled out a reported £45m on Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller and are said to be on the hunt for one more forward.

Rangers however have consistently reiterated that the striker will not leave unless a bid reaching their valuation of the player is received.
Steven Gerrard has said it would take a “really big offer” to part with the striker. Gers managing director Stewart Robertson has previously put that at close to £20m.
The Star report seriously undervalues Rangers’ financial valuation of the striker and it is incredibly unlikely the club will deal at a £10m price.
This is the second report that claims West Ham are looking into the possibility of signing Morelos for a cut-price fee.
In incredible comments, apparently “in the know” West Ham insider EXWHUEmployee claimed that the player was available to move for £4-5m [West Ham Way podcast on Phoenix FM (Wednesday 17th July)].

With under three weeks of the Premier League window to go, time will tell if West Ham or even Crystal Palace decide to move for Alfredo.
But if they do, it’ll certainly have to be for more than £10m.
