Sky Sports News claim Alfredo Morelos rejects £30m Chinese move

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has sensationally turned down a £30m move to China, according to Sky Sports News.
The sports news outlet claims that Chinese club Hebei China Fortune were prepared to meet Rangers asking price of close to £15m for the player.
But they claim Morelos turned down the lucrative £30m contract offer from the Chinese Super League club.

The deal on the table was said to be a £10m-a-year offer over three years which would see Morelos rake in close to £200k per week in wages.
Yet, the striker appears to have made a considerable statement about his future with the decision over the deal.
Whilst Sky Sports say there was no official bid lodged, the claim is that Morelos intimated that he did not wish to move to China.
Despite the best efforts of some news outlets and commentators to suggest the report is completely made up, it is incredibly difficult to see why Sky Sports News would do so.

Even with the Sports Direct/Hummel debacle happening in the background.
The decision shows that Morelos’ ambitions certainly lie in Europe, and potentially with Rangers. For this season at least.
It is a significant boost to the club’s on-pitch ambitions and one which will be welcomed by supporters. The club’s title hopes would certainly take a dent by selling Morelos.

The news also suggests that Alfredo is in absolutely no rush to move on, which bodes well for the club this season.
Unless someone else comes in and matches Alfredo’s asking price, he’ll be staying at Ibrox.
What’s more, it appears that it could well be his decision.
