Reliable Rangers club insider Four Lads Had a Dream have moved to rubbish claims that Rangers are moving for Andrew Gutman and Craig Bryson.
The popular blog and Twitter account also reiterated that Rangers are in formal talks to bring forward the deal for Glen Kamara and to make Ryan Kent’s loan permanent.
And they’re not often wrong.
The account is looked at by Rangers supporters as a reliable source of information which also represents fans views effectively. There’s no reason to doubt them here.
Gutman and fellow American Matt Polster joined Rangers on trial last month. Whilst Polster has joined the squad in Tenerife, Gutman hasn’t. Reports from American Soccer Now suggested Rangers had offered him a contract.
Other conflicting reports in America suggested we’re battling Celtic for his signature. But alas, Gerrard has made his judgement on American College Soccer’s Player of the Year and he won’t be joining Rangers.

Craig Bryson, who is coincidentally 32, was linked to Rangers
It sounded like a strange move by the club and Four Lads Had a Dream seemed to have confirmed that. They claim Rangers will not move for Bryson. We’ve just signed Steven Davis, who seems the much better of the two options for Rangers.
However, whilst these moves look to have gone cold, there’s excitement brewing about the potential of Kamara and Kent joining full-time this month.
