Rangers have been given a major boost if they want to get Glen Kamara over to Ibrox this month, as Dundee are reportedly ready to let him go now.
According to the Scottish Sun, Dundee wouldn’t mind letting him leave this month. Considering they would lose him for nothing in the summer, the club would be pleased to receive a fee for his services.
Dundee are wanting to rebuild massively this month. Any fee from Rangers for Kamara would help add to Jim McIntyre’s budget at Dens Park.

Dundee have already shipped out nine players up to this point. Losing Kamara for the relegation battle seems to be a risk that McIntyre is also willing to take ahead of a colossal next five months.
Yesterday, it was reported that Kamara would be considered a direct replacement for Lassana Coulibaly. The latter hasn’t been the same since returning from injury. We also made the point yesterday that Rangers should make their move for Kamara now if he was truly Coulibaly’s replacement.
Unlikely to cost anything unreasonable
It’s unlikely Dundee will demand anything unreasonable for Kamara. He’s already heading to Ibrox, and the Dee can’t stop that. Therefore, Rangers would be the ones holding the aces in any deal for him.
Signing him up now would help him bed in for next season, and would be a beneficial move. The only stumbling block would’ve been whether Dundee were actually willing to sell. According to the source, however, it would appear that they are.
Kamara hasn’t had a consistent year this season at Dens. Injury knocks have subsequently tarnished his progress, and he’s filtered in and out of the team this season.

The former Arsenal kid has made 23 appearances this term regardless. He remains one of the most important players at Dens Park, but it would appear that Dundee have been put off by the pre-contract agreement.
It’s a big boost for Rangers in any bid to bring him to Ibrox now. Now that Dundee are reportedly happy to allow that, the club have no reason not to move for him.
