It’s fair to say Rangers fans are pretty desperate to see Ryan Kent at Ibrox next season.
The tricky winger has had a superb season in royal blue which even culminated in him winning the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
Such is their desperation; plenty fans think Rangers captain James Tavernier might’ve just hinted at Kent’s future. And if he has, it’s good news.
The image is of James Tavernier sizing up that free kick against Celtic. Whilst it is not completely spectacular, the image is, of course, symbolic given Tav scored.
It really does look like Kent is just an innocent extra in the background. But it hasn’t stopped Rangers fans getting excited.

You get the picture. I think Rangers fans are maybe saying all of this more out of hope than expectation. But there’s nothing wrong with dreaming.
Rangers remain very interested in Ryan Kent and manager Steven Gerrard previously confirmed the club has made an offer.

Kent himself has said there’s a “possibility” he could move to Ibrox. But other comments about wanting to finally settle down at a club suggest there’s also a chance he won’t.
Either way, I don’t think any announcement on the player’s future is going to come through the Rangers captain’s Twitter account!
